Voice Magazine Redesign
Editorial Design / Adobe InDesign
This project focused on reimagining Voice, the AUK student magazine, through a critical and creative redesign process. The goal was to elevate its editorial layout, enhance typographic hierarchy, and improve visual coherence across different content types.
I began by analyzing previous issues to identify weaknesses in type consistency, layout structure, legibility, and visual rhythm. Drawing inspiration from contemporary magazines, I sketched new layouts and restructured the publication’s visual system.
Using Adobe InDesign, I developed six custom master pages to accommodate core sections. I experimented with typography, grids, and color palettes to achieve a clean and engaging design.
The final outcome presents a more unified and reader-friendly version of Voice, supported by mockups and a documented design process.
