Don’t Tell Me I’m Pretty – Kinetic Typography (Experimental Study)

This piece is an experimental kinetic type animation based on Faouzia’s Don’t Tell Me I’m Pretty. Focused on exploring motion, rhythm, and visual voice, the project experiments with a variety of animation techniques — from sharp cuts and bouncing text to layered movements and 3D transitions. Rather than aiming for stylistic unity, the goal was to test how different approaches to type and shape animation can reflect the song’s emotional shifts. This study served as a foundation for developing a more refined motion language in future work.
